Uridine Monophosphate: The #1 Nucleotide
Uridine Monophosphate 300mg from Essentialseries is a dietary supplement in vegetable capsules, made with disodium salt of the nucleotide uridine 5-monophosphate, combining the nucleoside uridine, ribose, and a phosphate group; with Vitamin B5 to contribute to the overall action on the intellectual performance of the supplement.
Uridine monophosphate is a nucleotide used by the body as a monomer in ribonucleic acid (RNA). The body synthesizes it via UMP synthase, through a decarboxylation reaction of orotidine 5'-monophosphate catalyzed by the enzyme orotidylate decarboxylase. Uridine is present in small amounts in certain foods, as well as its nucleotide form: Uridine phosphate.
HSN Uridine Monophosphate is stable and free from Genetically Modified Organisms.
A product of the highest quality for the most demanding users who care about their health.
You Find the Best Quality at HSN:
300mg of UMP per Vegetable Capsule
The dosage of uridine monophosphate varies among market products. However, scientific research shows that a dose starting from 500mg is considered truly relevant.
Many dietary supplements from other brands do not reach this amount, as UMP is an expensive and difficult compound to handle, so they choose to be more conservative with the dosage.
At HSN, we work with an R&D team specializing in nucleotide management to ensure their total integrity and to achieve dosages as high as the 300mg we offer of the pure nucleotide (not its sodium salt) per vegetable capsule. With 600mg per recommended daily dose.
Composition with Vitamin B5, Why?
Vitamin B5 is known for contributing to normal intellectual performance.
Its presence in this supplement is aimed at amplifying the overall properties of the product, making it the ideal choice for people with high cognitive demands, such as students or workers.

Disodium Salt: Transparent Information and Reasons for Use
We use disodium (sodium) salt of UMP in our product because it is a stabilized presentation of UMP, improving its overall metabolization and especially its stability during storage.
However, this does not mean we are less transparent, what do we mean?
Disodium salt contains a sodium fraction. We are not the only ones using this form, as it is a high-quality presentation found in the best brands, but we have noticed that many brands do not properly break down the active ingredients in their supplements, making it seem like the 'X mg' they offer are of Uridine when they are actually of disodium uridine salt.
If you remove the sodium from the disodium UMP salt, 88% remains as Uridine Monophosphate. This means that companies that do not break it down are making you think their product contains 12% more UMP when it is actually sodium from the disodium salt.
Our Uridine Monophosphate provides 300mg of UMP per capsule, not 300mg of disodium UMP salt, but 300mg of the pure nucleotide you want to consume, of which 226mg are base Uridine as a nucleoside (without ribose or phosphate).
Foods with Uridine, Do I Need to Supplement?
Our body synthesizes uridine, but it is not unknown in our diet either.
Beer contains small amounts of uridine, (~0.05mg/ml), but offal (animal viscera) supposedly contains more uridine, as in foods like pancreas, liver, or heart, we can find DNA and RNA as nutrients, and in RNA, uridine is a monomer that makes up the structure. However, the amount provided or how well the body can release it from the complex structure is uncertain.
In short, it is scientifically accepted that if you seek to harness the nutritional effects of uridine, you need to supplement your diet with the compound, as the supply through traditional foods is extremely low.
Non-GMO - Not Everyone Ensures This!
According to reports from reputable entities like the Non-GMO Project, nucleotides are among the compounds most at risk of containing Genetically Modified Organisms in their preparation.
At HSN, we reject this practice as it poses a threat to natural diversity and still raises questions about food safety, so all our products are GMO-free, even those that are easier to find with GMOs than without, including UMP.
Our Uridine Monophosphate is 100% free from Genetically Modified Organisms.
