New biodegradable measuring scoop kits: the easiest way to measure your HSN products
At HSN, we have introduced the new biodegradable measuring scoop kits, a practical solution for measuring your powdered food supplements, recipe ingredients and everyday preparations with greater convenience. Each kit brings together several scoop sizes connected to one another, making them easier to use, store and transport, while preventing loose pieces and helping you always have the scoop you need close at hand.
You can choose between two formats depending on the type of product or the amount you want to use. The Small Kit includes 1ml, 5ml, 10ml, 15ml and 20ml scoops, ideal for smaller quantities or concentrated ingredients. The Large Kit includes 30ml, 50ml and 70ml scoops, designed for higher-volume powders such as proteins, carbohydrates or healthy flours. Please note that the scoops measure volume in ml/cc, not grams: the final amount will depend on the density of each product, so we recommend consulting the "How do I know which measuring scoop I need?" section on this page.
Made from plant-based PLA sourced from renewable resources, these measuring scoops are manufactured using material certified in accordance with the European standard EN 13432:2000 for industrial composting. A practical option to help reduce the unnecessary use of single-use plastics in your daily routine.
How to get HSN measuring scoops?
With every HSN order that includes a powdered product, you can choose one measuring scoop free of charge. If your order contains more powdered products and you would like additional scoops of the same type, you can purchase them for €0.50 each, a price lower than the RRP of the measuring scoop in our online store.
However, these scoops will only be available while stocks last. After that, only the measuring scoop kits will be available. What is the aim? To ensure that you do not have to worry about scoops, as once you have the kits, you will have a scoop for any product.
We explain it step by step
With every purchase made through our online store, whenever your order includes at least one HSN powder product, you will be able to add one free measuring scoop to your order. As you already know, when selecting the product, you can first choose whether or not you need a measuring scoop.
If your order includes more powder products and you select the need for a measuring scoop of the same size as the first product, an additional charge of €0.50 will be added, a price lower than the recommended RRP for measuring scoops. The maximum number of scoops you may request will be equal to the number of products requiring a scoop of the same dimensions.
A clear example: as shown in the image, you have added a 500g bag of Evowhey Protein to your shopping cart, which requires a 70 ml measuring scoop. Your order also includes a 150g bag of Evofuel, and you have selected the option to include a scoop (with the same dimensions as the one for Evowhey Protein). The first scoop is free of charge, while the second costs €0.50. *Recommendation: you can use a single measuring scoop for both products. The recommended serving size for both Evowhey Protein and Evofuel is 70 ml.
How do you know which measuring scoop you need?

HSN powder products have a specific usage method that requires the corresponding indicated scoop. If you wish to obtain other measurements, you will need to use a balance or scale.
For example, to take Creatine Monohydrate Powder, the instructions indicate mixing half a 10 ml scoop to reach the daily dose of 3.4 g of creatine monohydrate. If you wish to take 6 g as advised or recommended by a doctor or nutritionist, you should use a measuring instrument.
Due to the density factor of each HSN powder product, there is no 1 ml = 1 g equivalence. Always check the recommended serving size (g) and the corresponding measuring scoop volume (ml) for each product.
For example, to take a 30 g serving of Evowhey Protein, a 70 ml scoop should be used.
Each raw material has a unique bulk density depending on its granulometry (microfiltered, micronised, etc.). A denser powder will weigh more in the same volume than a lighter, more volatile powder.
